Adding Value And Making A Difference In People’s Lives

I love to pose this question to groups of people.  Who wants to be a leader?  In most cases the majority of people will raise their hands.  The question is,  do they understand what it means to be a leader?  In life we have leaders and followers.  I love what John Maxwell said about leadership.  Leadership is ‘influence”.  He said in leadership if you have no one following you, you are merely going for a walk. This week, our church has set aside five days to pray and fast.  We have being using a devotional booklet called “Dare to Believe”.  In my time of ‘silence’ today - speeding time in His presence, I was reflecting on my own leadership and the way I lead.  Am I modelling a ‘Dare to Believe’ approach to our church family and others?  What leadership qualities are evident in my life?  You don't have to answer …. :)  It was my time to reflect.
